A good, hearty vegetable dish that can serve as a light main course with some rice or toast.
Heat the oil, add garlic, then ginger and onion. When the onions start to turn translucent add the other vegetables. Cover and cook on a low flame until the turnips are starting to get soft, around 5 minutes. You may want to add a little bit of water to keep it from burning.
Add the cabbage, mock duck and other seasonings, and a bit of water. Cover and cook another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
